Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that emphasizes ground fighting and submission holds to control and defeat an opponent. You'll learn to control and submit opponents in a friendly and challenging environment. BJJ classes are offered in both the Gi and No-Gi.

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a high-energy martial art that blends powerful punches, kicks, and conditioning drills into a fun and effective full-body workout. It builds strength, endurance, balance, and confidence while teaching practical striking skills. Whether your goal is fitness, stress relief, or self-defense, kickboxing offers an engaging way to challenge yourself and learn a critical life skill.

Kids Classes

Our kids’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing programs are designed to build confidence, discipline, and respect while keeping training fun and engaging. Through age-appropriate techniques and drills, kids learn valuable self-defense skills, improve coordination, and develop healthy habits. These classes not only teach martial arts but also encourage focus, teamwork, and perseverance—skills that benefit children both on and off the mats.

Womens Classes

Now more than ever, women deserve to feel safe, strong, and confident. Martial arts training provides the perfect outlet—combining practical self-defense skills with an uplifting workout that leaves you feeling empowered and energized. Along the way, you’ll find encouragement in a supportive community, enjoy the option of training with family, and create space for yourself with much-needed “me time.” It’s more than fitness—it’s confidence, connection, and empowerment designed for today’s woman.

Why Choose Victory Academy?

At many gyms, students are left wondering if they are truly in the right environment. Concerns about toxic culture, unsafe training, or concern about your kids picking up bad values can make it difficult to feel confident about where they’re spending their time. On top of that, it’s not always clear if the instruction they’re receiving is truly helping them grow.

At Victory Academy, we resolve those concerns by making culture and quality instruction our top priorities. We provide a safe, positive learning environment where students of all levels are treated with respect and encouraged to grow—both on and off the mats. Here, families can feel at ease knowing they’re training in a supportive community while still receiving world-class instruction.

What is the difference between Gi and No-Gi?

Gi is the traditional uniform practiced with in Jiu jitsu, much similar to Judo or Karate. Training in the Gi offers a variety of new submissions, techniques, and options for controlling your opponent. A common notion is that training in the Gi will enhance your fighting in no-Gi

No-Gi practitioners train without the traditional Gi. This gives a new dynamic to sparring or 'rolling' by decreasing and changing what grips and submissions you can utilize. No-Gi tends to move at a faster or more explosive pace in order to close the distance and gain control of the fight.

Is Kickboxing/jiu jitsu safe for my child?

While martial arts assumes inherent risks, Yes! All classes and sparring are conducted under the supervision of one or more instructors. Head gear, shin guards, and mouth piece are worn during kickboxing sparring for additional protection.

What do I need to bring?

Athletic clothes or something you can sweat and move easily in; I.E. shorts, leggings, or T-Shirt. A water bottle and a can do attitude! Any gear you may need will be available.

Which class should I attend if I am a beginner?

All general classes are beginner friendly. Instruction is adapted to all levels. Students are paired up for sparring/rolling with other students that will best facilitate your growth and safety at your level.

How young can my child start in martial arts?

We recommend ages six and above. Five year old's are welcome to train on a case by case basis so long as they can pay attention and apply themselves.

Is there a family plan?

Absolutely! Please call or visit in person for details on family plan discounts.

Are there Women only classes?

Yes! Tuesday-Friday mornings at 9am in both Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing. All Women's classes are taught by female instructors.
